Here are Deacon and Chloe playing in my sister's backyard. Deacon is the white German shepherd, and Chloe is a St. Bernard. It would not be wise to get between them. Chloe is an old woman - about 9 years old. We think Deacon is about 2. Chloe is trying to teach Deacon manners. For example, if he tries to eat food off of the table, Chloe will bark as if to say, "Young man! We do not eat food off of the humans' table! We sit beside them and stare pitifully until they give us their food."
